Bye, Bye, Jason

Well.... we've finally rid ourselves of Jason Castro. I'm not sure how he's lasted quite this long, it's been obvious that for several weeks now he's just not been taking this whole thing seriously, But Tuesday night's performance sealed the deal for him. His first song was Bob Marley's "I shot the sheriff" and was pretty bad, but his rendition of Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man" sealed the deal...

I'm thinking Mr. Castro has maybe killed off a few too many brain cells with whatever it is he's indulging in, but the fact that he totally blew it, didn't even phase him - Poor guy, doesn't even have two thoughts to rub together.

So with this, we say, Goodbye, Mr. Castro, good luck and maybe by the time you go on tour this summer, you'll learn the words to your songs.

I haven't watched a full season of Idol since the second season. Even the trials lost interest for me. The judges are all over the top in their own way and each one is annoying. It's hard to believe that talentless people willingly go out an humiliate themselves to try and get on this show. At least Mr. Castro had enough "talent" to get him this far. Too bad he hasn't got the brain cells to make sense of it all. :-D

I was so glad to see Castro go. And about the brain cell thing, I definitely agree.
