Weight Loss Wednesday - Balance and Stablility

Up until now, we've just been talking about eating healthy and trying to get into a good, positive frame of mind to help get the extra pounds off. We've been trying to tie everything together into a neat little package for you, we've got it all, but there's one thing missing.... Exercise. Think of exercise as the string that holds the package together, without the string, everything will come undone and we'll have to start all over again.

This week, I've chosen a quick Balance and Stability workout for you to try. Yes, there is some equipment involved, but I've seen hand weights at the dollar store and stability balls can be purchased for about $10 at your local sporting goods store on sale.

Here's a very basic, Balance and Stability workout that will get you started on your way.

Give these a try - you'll be able to feel the muscles working and remember... Muscle burns more calories than fat - so build up those muscles!
