Holiday Home Decorating Tips Straight from the Experts at Disney!
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are always magical. The whole place is decorated to the max - every time I visit at Christmas, I always wish I could come home and decorate my house to look as spectacular as is does at Disneyland! Just check out a few of the pictures I took while we were at the park a couple of weeks ago:
Sleeping Beauty's Castle
is decked out with thousands upon thousands of LED lights for a magcial "Iced" effect that plays a big part in the finale of the holiday fireworks display.
I'ts a Small World goes Holiday! Not only is the outside decked out, but the inside holds a magical Christmastime surprise... think gingerbread men...
New Orleans Square is always one of my favorite places at Christmastime. It's decked out in full style!
Hint: Wander down the back alleyways, tucked in a corner, you'll find a large staircase perfectly decorated - it's the most fabulous place to pose for the family Christmas Picture! It's a perfect time to use Disney's Photo Pass!
Even The Haunted Mansion, world famous residence of the 999 happiest haunts have gone Holidays! Jack Skellington has taken over and... well, he's just a little confused about the difference between Christmas and Halloween!
The entrace to the Disneyland Hotel. This is where we stayed, it boasts a "Peter Pan" theme and guess what??.... There's even pixie dust that lights up in your room when the lights go out at night!
Now that you've seen some of the great Christmas decorations at the Disneyland Resort, Here is David, the Manager of the Decorating Department at the Disneyland Resort. He's got some great ideas for last minute decorating that you can do at home for little or no cost:
