Cushie Pushie

We have the boppy pillow, we have the my breast friend pillow, we even have the natural nursing pillow. These pillows are all great - in fact, I was rarely without my boppy pillow when I was nursing my youngest. But these pillows are made solely to support baby while you're nursing, not to help in any other way.

Enter the Cushie Pushie - this pillow is designed specifically to help you get into the right position for more efficient nursing. This awesome little triangular pillow pushes your breast upward in order to allow easy latching by your nursing baby, it also helps to maintain correct positioning throughout the feeding.

By keeping the breast pushed up, it also frees one of your hands from continually holding your breast while breastfeeding. My only thought here is "Why didn't I know about this eight years ago??" I can very vividly remember constantly holding my little one with one arm and constantly having to "hold things up" with the other hand - which meant I was pretty much just sitting there and nursing. Sure, just sitting there is great when you've just delivered and your body really needs the rest - but what about six months down the line when you could really use that extra free hand - even if it's only to drink some water or answer the phone!

The Cushie Pushie is definitely a must have for any nursing, or soon to be nursing Mom.

Today is the last day to enter to win your very own Cushie Pushie - Check out our Contest Post for instructions on how to enter.
