Disneyland has Grown-Up Fun Too!

Sure, we love to take the kids to Disneyland - there's nothing more fun than a great day spent with the kiddos riding the great rides, enjoying the fun and seeing those magical moments happen right before our eyes.

But did you know that The Disneyland Resort has some great things for us grownups too?

Disney's California Food and Wine Festival will be held at the Disneyland Resort April 24 to June 7, 2009. The six week long festival showcases all of the fantastic flavors we have going on here in California. This year's theme is "World Celebration" - Gary Maggetti, director of food and beverage for Disneyland Resort theme parks tells us that the experience "Will take you on a delicious journey around the globe" he also says "We invite guests to celebrate their favorite foods and wines with our great variety of events, and to explore new tastes and flavors with our outstanding chef's and wine experts". The festival features daily complimentary demonstrations and premier ticketed events at Disney's California Adventure Park and all throughout the entire Disneyland Resort. With over 600 complimentary events and a Junior Chef program for kiddos 11 and under on the weekends the whole family can join in on the action. Best of all, every complimentary event is included with your theme-park admission!

Featured celebrity chefs this year include Guy Fieri of the Food Network and nearly 100 Disneyland Resort chefs who will be conducting cooking demonstrations that showcase their talents and an international mix of delectable dishes.

If you've never been a part of the festivities before - or if you've been every year, there is always something new to explore.
