Great Workout DVDs For Kids

In a perfect world, your kids get enough of a "workout" with their daily play. But, with the rainy days of spring, they sometimes get stuck indoors and say, "I'm bored!" a little too often. So, I decided to check out some workout videos for kids. The following two videos are a great way to get in a workout with the kids or just get them moving on their own.

Tony and the Kids

(Program Summary) Give your kids something to jump about! It’s Tony & the Kids!, the fun and stimulating exercise program created just for kids (young and old!) by Tony Horton with Judi Williams. There’s never been a better way to get your kids excited about exercise and give them a fun way to burn off that excess energy!

(My Review) This DVD is just too cute. There are cartoon inserts for portions where the kids pretend to ride a horse for example. My 3 and 6 year old children LOVE it. It's even a fun one to pop on to keep them occupied while I make dinner.

Sean T's Fit Kids Club

(Program Review) With a childhood obesity crisis sweeping the nation, choreographer to the stars Shaun T wanted to create a program that would get kids off the couch and on their feet. The most important thing was that these workouts had to be fun! And that’s how the Fit Kids Club program was invented. By teaching kids cool, modern dance moves these workouts never feel like exercise.

(My Summary) I also like this one a lot. My kids can't quite get the hip hop moves yet, but they still enjoy the music and just having fun. Ideally, this one is for kids from about age 7 and up or a very coordinated 5 and up. My friend does it with her daughter all the time and they have so much fun dancing together.

If you are interested, stop by my site here to place your order. As with all Beachbody videos, they have a 30-day money back guarantee so there is no risk in giving them a try. So get out those wiggles with your kids today.

Until next time, have a safe, happy and healthy week ahead.
