Light Up The Loo (CLOSED)
It's the middle of the night, everything is shrouded in darkness and by golly... you've got to go! So you stumble in, half asleep hoping not to wake yourself up too much so you'll be able to drift back to dreamland quickly - but you've got to turn on the light - so much for not waking up completely! If only you had a Johnny Light installed on your potty!Johnny Light is this ingenious little green light that installs effortlessly to your commode seat. When the seat is up, the little green LED light goes on - their motto is "For Men - Green means Go, For Women - Watch out Below!" To find out exactly how it works, check out their Video - it's tooo funny! The green light will not wake you or others up and it's actually very helpful with children's potty training.
We have fifteen (15) Johnny Lights to give away to fifteen (15) lucky winners (one winner each day)!
There are several ways to enter - here are the rules:

With two kids in the house (one boy and one girl) this would be great for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom. It would keep them from having to turn the bathroom lights on and waking up their brother/sister!

I would love to have this in our home. Our bathroom is so dark at night this would be a great addition. Also like that it is easy on the eyes.

I'd like to see if it would help in potty training. My son is currently in the process, but every so often, he loses interest.I'm thinking the "green light means go" aspect might entertain him for a while.

I think this would be awesome. We use a nightlight right now in the bathroom and it's annoying so we have to close the door most of the way. This would work so much better.
June 1, 2009 3:22 PM
oh too funny! anything that helps potty training and the kids peeing in the middle of the night is a good thing.

you wonder why others havent thought of that...its a long tiring walk to the bathroom. youd be able to see where to sit. my boy sometimes goes in the middle of the night. big mess in the morning.

I like how it "reminds us to put the toilet seat down"!

love it and the reminders

How silly but yet practical.
June 2, 2009 2:32 AM
It would make everyone more likely to close the lid and prevent items from falling in.
June 2, 2009 3:01 AM
My little brother is suffering from night-blindness and he always trips over things in the bathroom when he wants to pee in the middle of the night (He's not high enough to reach the lights). This might help him.

It is very important for the king /queen to find the throne at night.
June 2, 2009 11:43 AM
Since my soon to be 4 year old boy now gets himself up in the middle of the night to pee (so proud of him) and leaves the seat up (yes, I have almost fallen in) this would be a wonderful warning system for me and teaching device to remind him.
June 2, 2009 12:56 PM
This would be great to have for my kids in the middle of the night. I love how it lights up when the lid is opened. Even the big kids need this.

We recently redid my bathroom and my daughter is not used to where the new light switch is so she tends to not turn it on. Sometimes she just does not make it in the dark. This would be a great win for.
June 8, 2009 10:21 AM
This would be great for my 4 1/2 year old son so that he doesn't *miss* when he goes to the potty at night. Also he can't reach the bathroom light switch, so give the kid a break!
