Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest Crowns Winner announces winner of Fifth Annual Contest.

Ann Kagawa Lee of Honolulu, Hawaii takes home the $1000 grand prize! announced the winner of their fifth annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress contest today. Toilet paper dress entries from around the world were received and final judging took place today at Boca Raton Bridal.

Laura Gawne and partners Susan Bain and Roxie Radford, who operate the website on saving money on weddings, base the contest on the popular bridal shower game. asked their readers to create wedding gowns using only toilet paper, tape and/or glue.

Grand prize winner Ann Kagawa Lee found inspiration in the movie Gone with the Wind and combined that with Japanese Origami to come up with the winning design. This year’s second place winner is Terri Glover of Marlin, Texas and third place goes to Guadalupe Andrade of Reseda, California. Terri wins $500 for her design and Guadalupe wins $250 for her entry.

Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Sponsored this year’s prizes and will display six entries in their museums around the world.
