Treat Yourself to a Fabulous Cheeseburger and a New Grill to Go with It

America's love affair with the almighty cheeseburger has reached new heights with the creation of the Cheese & Burger Society, a microsite featuring 30 mouth-watering, bun-busting cheeseburger inspirations, complete with the Grand Pooh-bah of all toppings, Wisconsin Cheese.

With tens of thousands of enthusiastic visitors to the site in just its first week, the Society is developing a passionate following for the ultimate of American foods, the cheeseburger. And no wonder. Visitors to the full sensory site can flip through the Rolodex™-style listing of sizzling burger photos while listening to the sonorous

tones of the cheeseburger "guide" as he introduces 30 juicy creations with quirky descriptions of the burgers and Wisconsin cheeses that—along with imaginative, over-the-top toppings—make them so special.

One amorous society member expressed cheeseburger love by proclaiming, "A burger without cheese is like a hug without a squeeze." Others are declaring their true cheeseburger affection by voting on their favorite burger, uploading photos, sharing burger experiences and more on Facebook.

To add to the party, one visitor will soon have the grilling edge by winning the one-and-only Cheeseburger Society sweepstakes, opening Aug. 1. The lucky grand prize winner will be the proud owner of a top-of-the-line gas grill and, along with 30 first-place winners, a Wisconsin artisan and specialty cheese gift box. All the details are available at www.CheeseAndBurger.com.

Maybe i'm the odd one out, but I wish I could get other cheeses on my burger rather than that weird tasting yellowish cheese. I would much prefer provolone, swiss, mozzarella or blue cheese!

Hi Gianna,

You definitely should pay a visit to the Napa Valley - the few places I can think of that DON'T ask what kind of cheese you want on your burger are the chain fast food joints!

Aahhh, burgers with swiss or jack or real cheddar - there's nothing like it!
