3 (or 4) Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

The simplest things are sometimes the best.

Our favorite peanut butter cookies are hardly any more work than slice and bake and taste oh-so-much better.

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
*chocolate kisses or stars, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients and form into 1" balls - no need to chill first and place 3 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Flatten slightly with a fork or cup with a cute decoration on the bottom dipped in sugar.

Bake 8 - 10 minutes until lightly browned and firm.

Let stand on cookie sheets for a minute or two before moving to cooling racks.*

*If using a chocolate kiss or star, place in center of cookie after removing from oven but before moving to cooling racks.

Enjoy.

I found this cookie recipe online a long time ago on cooks.com I think. I call this the poor mans cookie. When you got a sweet tooth you usually have all 3 things on stock to whip up some yummy cookies.
