Meet Maryanne

We would like to announce our newest contributor to the Pink Lemonade lineup!

Maryanne Comaroto is an award-winning author, therapist and radio personality who reaches three million people worldwide through her broadcasts. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Center for Healthy Relationships, based in San Francisco, CA.

Maryanne is a frequent guest on TV and radio talk shows around the country, appearing on ABC’s “20/20,” Disney’s Soap Net,” KOMO-ABC “Northwest in the Afternoon,” KATU -ABC’s “AM Northwest,” and San Francisco’s KGO-ABC’s “View From the Bay,” etc. Her blogs can be found on blogher.com, sexwithemily.com, and askdanandjennifer.com, as well as many more sites.

As the authority on successful relationships, Maryanne can be heard on her weekly radio talk show, which also live streams on her web site, www.maryannelive.com . Maryanne started her therapeutic work as a chemical dependence counselor with teens over 25 years ago. For the last 10 years, she has had a private practice as a licensed hypnotherapist and currently conducts transformational workshops for men and women.

She is the author of the award-winning book, Skinny, Tan and Rich: Unveiling the Myth, (2003, Bridge the Gap Publishing) an intensely personal memoir infused with humor, innocence, and uncompromising truths, tracing Maryanne’s heroic quest to find her true self.
