TGI Fridays™ is known for bringing people together at the bar, and thisValentine's Day is going social to ask guys and girls for their thoughts and stories around the ultimate relationship-focused holiday.

Whether it's celebrating young-love or lasting romance, Girls Night Out or wingman duty, or simply enjoying a night out with friends, Fridays™ is out to get a pulse on the nation's love affair by making connections. The robust social debate will be supported through a partnership with The Match Group and a couples sweepstakes, allowing various ways for people to share their feelings thisValentine's Day.

The Great Debate Continues

Regardless of their relationship status, Fridays is encouraging guys and girls to again join the debate this Valentine's Day. People – Taken or Lookin' – can cast their vote to showcase who's happier in various situations: #TGImTaken or #TGImLookin, encouraging everyone to weigh in on who they plan to hang with and how they plan to celebrate.
"Fridays has always been in the mix of bringing people together- so whether you're Taken or Lookin', we want to continue to instigate conversations in the social space to bring these experiences to life," said Brian Gies, Chief Marketing Officer, TGI Fridays. "Through the inherent fun of this promotion, we can influence and uncover other unique stories, while also inspiring others to enjoy the Fridays social bar experience."

This month at Fridays, it's #HappyEveryHour, and to encourage celebrations for those both Taken and Lookin', Fridays will offer deals such as half price bottles of wine during Valentine's week. The brand will also engage with fans and feature stories via their social channels, including FacebookInstagram, Snapchat, Tumblr and Twitter.

Match Group Partnership
To encourage all those who are Lookin', Fridays launches an exclusive, month-long partnership with the Match Group (HowAboutWe, OKCupid, Swimmingly® and Match.com®). Additionally, as a sponsor of "The Date Report" on HowAboutWe, posts will cover hot topics such as- how to ask your crush out on Valentine's Day, reasons to celebrate being single, how to be the best wingwoman or wingman, and how to do Gal-entine's Day right. On Swimmingly.com, Fridays features will include top celebrity couples and best Instagram for non-singles.


The custom sponsorship will come to life mid-month as Match.com hosts four Stir events at select Fridays restaurants across the country. Each event will stir up singles' social lives as they enjoy "Happy Every Hour" food and drink specials. As locations and dates are being finalized, members can follow Fridays social channels to find one in their area.
#MyFridaysValentine Sweepstakes Stories 

Fridays is also celebrating those who are Taken through the romantic story of former Fridays bartenders, Dawn and Tony Carrano. Meeting through the job, their relationship transitioned from a dynamic duo behind the bar to husband and wife dream team. The restaurant is using Dawn and Tony's tale as inspiration for a sweepstakes, seeking the many others who have connected within the socially liberating environment of TGI Fridays. 

The "My Fridays Valentine's" sweepstakes will run today through February 14, encouraging others to share their love stories by posting a photo on social media tagged with #MyFridaysValentine. During the two-week sweepstakes, daily winners will be chosen to receive a $50 TGI Fridays gift card toward a date at the restaurant. One grand prize winner and their Valentine will receive a romantic weekend getaway to Paris – the city of love – including airfare, hotel stay, local transportation and spending money.

"We knew that the day we got married, we had to go back to the place it all began, so we brought our entire wedding party to theSpringfield, NJ Fridays bar to take photos; they gave us a memorable representation of our journey," said Dawn Carrano.
