A little Holiday Cheer!

Baby it’s cold outside and the jingle bells are ringing, but the night is far from silent because this time of year brings the most festive parties of the season.

Whatever the occasion, the key to a good party is knowing how to whip up THE perfect cocktail of the season. And if you’re looking for the perfect host gift, we’ve provided three thoughtful, yet simple options from SMIRNOFF and Sterling Vineyards that won’t break the bank and will satisfy any palate.

Below are two of SMIRNOFF’s winter cocktails, the SMIRNOFF No. 21 Celebration Edition bottle and two wine selections from Sterling that will make your holiday celebration the best of the year.

Sterling Vintner's Collection Chardonnay, Central Coast 11
Flaunting a ripe California style, Sterling Chardonnay opens with bright aromas of Meyer lemon, peach, orange blossom and spicy vanilla oak. Bright fruit flavors enter the palate crisply and cleanly before developing a nice round creaminess. Partial barrel fermentation gives the wine a weighty oak complexity that joins the fruit in the long and lingering finish. Pair this well-balanced Chardonnay with rich, textured chicken dishes or fleshy seafood such as seared scallops.
SRP $14.00/bottle

Sterling Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 11
Smooth and elegant, the 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon delivers the reputed charm of its pedigree. Intense aromas, led by toasty oak and spice, unfold with layers of cardamom, cedar, dark chocolate and anise over briary fruit. Layers of red fruit, brown sugar, and black licorice are joined by chocolately tannins that melt into a long finish perfect for the cold months of winter. The cooler vintage left a lift of acid that makes it perfect for pairing with food. Try with a hearty mushroom tart, roasted pork loin or grilled meat.
SRP $28.00
